What will SmartOne IPTV cost in 2026? App, subscription and hidden costs
“How much does that actually cost?” It’s the very first question everyone asks, and yet the answer is almost never clear. Logically: “SmartOne IPTV” consists of two separate prices, and exactly those two are constantly confused. Add to that the fact that there are plenty of sites floating around that charge extra money for something that should be free, and you understand why people pay unnecessarily much for this.
Therefore this overview, without small print.
Prize 1: the app itself (one-off)
SmartOne is a media player. The app is officially available in the Samsung Store and the LG Content Store, and the basic version is free to install. You pay normally for the Premium version — the one without full-screen advertisements €12.50 per TV. Once, not per year.
And that’s where the nonsense begins. There are websites that sell a “SmartOne license” for €5 or €10, while you simply arrange the activation via the app itself. Other “providers” charge €12.50 annually for the same app. All not necessary.
At Pro-IPTV the app is free. We will pay the €12.50 for you; it is simply included in every subscription. So you never pay separately for the app.
Price 2: the subscription (every year or month)
The app does nothing without channels, and we supply the channels. Our prices:
| Duration | Price per month | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | €10 | €10 |
| 3 months | €8.33 | €25 |
| 6 months | €7.50 | €45 |
| 12 months | €6.25 | €75 |
With every duration you get the same: all Dutch channels, sports (ESPN, Ziggo Sport, Viaplay, F1, Eredivisie), films and series, plus Dutch-language Joinchat support. The difference is only in the price per month. If you choose 12 months, you pay €75 — less than two months of Ziggo.
Do you only want films and series and don’t watch live TV? Then there is a separate streaming package for € 25. The complete offer can be found in the shop.
What’s not included (no hidden costs)
- Installation and activation of SmartOne: free.
- EPG (program guide), favorites and multiple devices: included.
- Additional TVs on the same subscription: we simply link multiple MAC addresses, without additional costs.
- Canceling is possible. If you are in a current period, you watch it out. No penalty clauses.
All you need is an internet connection of at least 10-15 Mbps and a device that runs the app. That’s what it comes down to. Anyone who is unsure whether their connection is sufficient can test it for free first — then you will see immediately.
The comparison that you only half see everywhere
Just for context, because “€ 10 per month” only means something if you put it next to the cable:
| Ziggo / KPN | Pro IPTV | |
|---|---|---|
| Price per month | €40 or more | From €10 |
| Dutch channels | Yes | Yes, all |
| Sports & F1 | Additional packages | Included |
| Movies & series | Separately (Netflix, Disney+, HBO) | Included or €25 |
| Foreign channels | Hardly | 10,000+ |
| Free testing | No | Yes, 24 hours on working days |
That’s not comparing apples and oranges: it’s the same television, just a different bill. Anyone who wants to calculate it completely can do so in the full IPTV vs Ziggo calculation.
Which is of no use to you, even for €5
And then the warning we always give here: don’t go for those dirt-cheap offers. It story of that €5 subscription ends three weeks later with a dead M3U link and customer service that no longer responds. An annual subscription of €75 is still fine; one of €60 from an unknown party is a gamble with your money.
The 2026 price story in three sentences
- The app normally costs €12.50 per TV — free with us.
- The subscription costs €10 per month, or €75 if you take a year. About.
- First test for free on working days and then decide whether you pay.
That’s all it is. No setup fees, no “activation fee”, no fine print. And if you encounter an extra cost item somewhere for someone else, you now know what you are paying for and whether it is justified.
