General

What is IPTV?+

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television: television that comes in through your internet connection instead of via cable or satellite. You watch on your own TV, phone, tablet or laptop — as long as there is internet. No technician, no per-channel packages and no fixed contracts with a TV provider: you choose for yourself where and on what you watch.

What’s the difference with cable, satellite or Digitenne?+

With cable and satellite the signal arrives through a physical connection; with IPTV it comes through your internet connection. The biggest differences:

  • Location: with IPTV you watch anywhere there is internet, not just at home.
  • Device: no box from the provider needed; you use your own devices.
  • Flexibility: shorter and simpler subscriptions, no multi-year contracts.
  • Channels: besides Dutch channels, also foreign, sports and movie channels in one overview.
Is IPTV legal?+

IPTV as a technology is perfectly legal — many providers and companies deliver it. The question is whether the channels in the package have the right rights. We provide a service with a wide range of channels, but you remain responsible for what you do with your subscription. Our advice: inform yourself well and use the service for your own private use. Questions about specific channels? Feel free to ask via WhatsApp before you order.

Can I try before I pay?+

Yes — a free 24-hour trial. You get full access, exactly like the real subscription, so you can check for yourself whether everything works on your devices and your internet. Request the trial via WhatsApp. Within minutes you’ll receive your login details. No payment details, no obligations.

Do I need technical knowledge?+

No. If you can install an app on your phone, you can do this. Installation usually consists of three steps: install app, enter login details, done. Can’t manage it? Then we’ll guide you step by step in a few WhatsApp messages, including pictures. We’ll solve it with you until it works.

Getting started

What do I need at minimum?+

Three things: an internet connection (see speed below), a device — smart TV, Android TV box, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, phone, tablet, laptop or an older TV with an HDMI stick — and a player app (we’ll tell you which one is best for your device). That’s all you need. No dish, no cable, no technician.

How fast does my internet need to be?+

Guideline per picture: SD/HD from ±10 Mb/s; Full HD ±20 Mb/s; 4K ±35–50 Mb/s. Watching on multiple devices at the same time? Add the required speeds together. You can test your speed for free, e.g. at speedtest.nl. Your internet speed matters more than which device you use.

How do I get it on my TV?+

Depending on your TV: Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, etc.) — install an IPTV app directly from the TV’s app store. Some TV models respond a bit slowly; then we recommend a separate TV box or stick for the best picture. Older TV without apps — use a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box in the HDMI port. They’re cheap and much more pleasant to operate than older TV menus. Other devices — you can always watch first on phone, tablet, laptop or PC. Which app you choose depends on your device — we’ll advise you via WhatsApp so you don’t have to search yourself.

How do I install the app on a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box?+

The best-known apps for these devices are TiviMate (Fire Stick/Android only) and IPTV Smarters Pro. In short: turn on “install from unknown sources” in the settings of your stick/box; install the player app (we give you a short, safe instruction per device — you don’t need to search); open the app and enter your login details, usually via an Xtream code or an M3U link we provide. All together this usually takes 5 to 10 minutes. Stuck somewhere? WhatsApp us and we’ll walk through it live with you.

Can I watch on multiple devices at the same time?+

Yes, you can log in on multiple devices. How many can stream at the same time depends on the package you choose — that’s clearly stated with the packages. Example: you’re watching on TV and someone at home wants to browse on the iPad — that works if your package allows two connections. Want more? Feel free to ask what suits your situation best.

Devices & apps

Which devices does it work on?+

Virtually everything: Android TV / Google TV; Amazon Fire TV / Fire TV Stick; Apple TV; smart TVs (via app store, or via an HDMI stick); MAG boxes (e.g. Infomir); Enigma2 (e.g. Dreambox, Vu+); iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android (phone/tablet); Windows, macOS and Linux (PC/laptop). In short: if an IPTV player can run on it, it works. Doubt about your device? Send us the brand and model via WhatsApp.

Which app should I use?+

The best app depends on your device and wishes: TiviMate — the favourite on Fire TV Stick and Android TV: nice guide, own channel list, mature app. IPTV Smarters Pro — works on virtually everything, also on iPhone/iPad/PC. Simple and clear. VLC / GSE Smart IPTV — easy alternatives for phone, tablet and PC. Kodi — for those who want more than TV alone (own library, add-ons). iPlayTV / GSE — for Apple users. We give you advice tailored to your order — you don’t need to figure anything out yourself.

Does it also work without a separate TV box?+

Yes. On modern smart TVs you install the app directly. Where we are honest: many smart TVs have a slow processor and less good apps. If your TV is four years old or more, a Fire TV Stick or a cheap Android box often works much more smoothly and you can’t beat the price/quality.

What is a MAG box or Enigma2 and do I need it?+

Those are specialised receivers: MAG (Infomir) and Enigma2 (Dreambox, Vu+) are devices that experienced IPTV viewers use. They work fine with our service, but you don’t need them — 9 out of 10 customers watch via a normal app on TV, phone or an HDMI stick. Have one? Mention it with your order and you’ll get the right settings.

Can I watch catch-up / record?+

Many channels and apps support an electronic programme guide (EPG) with catch-up options, and apps like TiviMate can record to a storage device. The possibilities differ per channel and per app. Tell us what you want (catch-up, recording, tracking series) and we’ll advise the app that can do it best.

Channels & content

Which channels can I watch?+

The offering consists of Dutch channels (including the major public and commercial broadcasters), plus a broad selection of foreign channels, sports and movie channels and easy-watch channels. From news and current affairs to entertainment, music, children’s channels and documentaries. We’ll gladly send you the full and current list via WhatsApp, or check it yourself during the free trial.

Are sports channels and matches included?+

Sport is a big part of the offering: international sports channels and (where available) pay channels are in the package. Think football, Formula 1, cycling, tennis and other major sports — in high picture quality. Note: providers and broadcasting rights change regularly. We’ll send you the most current status via WhatsApp before you order.

Are there foreign channels?+

Yes: among others English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Moroccan, Surinamese and Arabic channels, besides many other countries. Handy for expats, second homes abroad and anyone who simply likes watching foreign programmes.

Can I watch movies and series?+

Many packages offer a VOD library (Video On Demand) with movies and series, alongside the normal channels. You open it in the same app as the channels — nothing extra to install. The offering varies; ask via WhatsApp whether the package you want includes VOD and how to open it.

What is EPG and do I need it?+

EPG is the electronic programme guide: the overview of “what’s on now and next”. With a good player app you see per channel which programmes are coming, just like with your old TV subscription. Without EPG you can still watch normally, but you miss the convenience of the guide and catch-up. Apps like TiviMate show the EPG automatically once you’ve enabled the guide.

In what quality can I watch?+

Depending on the channel and your connection: SD, HD (720p), Full HD (1080p) and where available 4K. Not every channel broadcasts in every quality — the channel decides that itself, just like with cable and satellite. Getting less quality than expected? First check your internet speed and whether you’re on wifi or cable (cable is more stable). Still disappointing? WhatsApp us and we’ll look along with you.

Connection & problems

The picture is buffering or stuttering. What do I do?+

Usually you fix buffering with this order: use cable instead of wifi — connect your TV box or TV via a network cable, the biggest difference. Restart your modem (plug out, 30 seconds, back in). Don’t let others stream/game at the same time (test your speed at speedtest.nl). Try another channel — does every channel stutter or only a few? Update the app or try another player app. Still not working? Send us a WhatsApp with what you see — we’ll look along and solve it.

Wifi or cable: what’s better for IPTV?+

A fixed network cable is almost always better: more stable, faster and no interference from walls or neighbours. Wifi can work fine, but is more sensitive to stuttering, especially with 4K or multiple devices. Our advice: watch via cable as much as possible. Cable not possible? Then make sure your device is close to the router and preferably use 5GHz wifi.

I see “no signal” or a black screen. Now what?+

Black picture on one channel is usually a short outage of that channel itself — try another channel to check. Black on everything: check whether your internet connection still works (open e.g. another app); close the app completely and reopen it; restart your device; check whether your subscription/trial is still valid. Still no luck? WhatsApp us — we’ll test the connection together.

What is the error “HDCP error” or “signal not supported”?+

HDCP is a security protocol between device and TV. You mainly see this error on older TVs or cheap HDMI cables. Check: use a good HDMI cable (try another one); try another HDMI port on the TV; on a Fire Stick, set the resolution a bit lower in the settings. “Signal not supported” usually means the TV can’t handle the picture setting — same approach, and restarting the app usually helps.

Does a VPN help with IPTV?+

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. A VPN can help with slow routes from your provider or in countries where IPTV is filtered. On the other hand, a VPN can also make the picture slower. Our advice: try it without a VPN first. If it doesn’t work well and you suspect your provider is slowing you down, test a VPN. Choose one with fast Dutch servers.

Does it work on multiple TVs in the house?+

Yes, as long as your package allows enough simultaneous connections and your internet can handle it. Each TV has its own app/device with the same login details. Don’t share your login with people outside your household: there is a maximum number of simultaneous streams and we can monitor traffic. Malicious piggybacking can cost you your subscription.

Betalen & bestellen

How does the free trial work?+

You send a WhatsApp message with “I want the free trial”. Within minutes you’ll receive your trial details and you can watch everything for 24 hours. Then you choose whether you want a package. No payment details, no automatic renewal, no obligations.

Which packages are there and what do they cost?+

The packages run from 1 month to 12 months, so you choose your own rhythm: 1 month — €10; 3 months — €25; 6 months — €45; 12 months — €75; 1 year streaming — €25. Paying longer is cheaper per month. The current packages and conditions are on the shop page or ask via WhatsApp.

How can I pay?+

You arrange your order via WhatsApp, and payment can be done in several ways: via a WhatsApp arrangement — we make an arrangement that suits you together. Bitcoin — anonymous, see the separate Bitcoin page for the simple explanation. Revolut gift card — buy the code, send it via WhatsApp, we cash in the card. Simple and as good as anonymous. Have a payment question that isn’t listed here? Send us a message and we’ll find a solution together.

Can I pay anonymously?+

Yes, in two ways: Bitcoin — you buy Bitcoin via an app or exchange (e.g. Revolut, bunq, Bitonic, Bitvavo) and pay to our address. As good as anonymous. Revolut gift card — you buy a Rewarble code with iDEAL or another well-known payment method, send the code via WhatsApp and we cash in the card. No sharing bank details, no account needed. More explanation and where to buy the cards: see the pages “Pay with Bitcoin” and “Gift card” in the menu.

How do I renew my subscription?+

No automatic debits and no surprises: just before your subscription expires, we send you a reminder via WhatsApp. Want to renew? Then arrange it in the same conversation — usually within a few minutes. Period too short or too long? Switching in between or paying extra for a longer package is possible, just ask.

Can I cancel?+

Yes. Send us a WhatsApp message with your details and your cancellation request and we’ll confirm it directly. No months-long notice periods, no hassle with calling a helpdesk.

Support & service

How fast do I get an answer when I have a problem?+

We’re reachable via WhatsApp and respond quickly — during the day usually within minutes. You get a real person, not a chatbot or ticket system. Send a message directly with what you see (error message, which device) and we’ll solve it in a few messages.

Is there a money-back scheme?+

That’s why the free trial exists: you check before you pay whether everything works. After payment you can indicate within a short period if things aren’t to your liking — we always first look for a solution together with you. Really impossible? Then we honestly look at what we can do for you. Important: don’t share your login details with others. Misuse or resale makes any claim for compensation impossible.

What if there’s an outage on the channels?+

Channels can drop out briefly, just like with any TV provider. Usually the provider resolves this within a short time. We keep an eye on channel news and outages and inform you via WhatsApp if something affects your package. See a channel that’s down for a long time? Report it to us — we’ll pick it up.

May I share my login with family or friends?+

No, the service is for your own use. You can log in on multiple devices (depending on your package), but the number of simultaneous streams is limited. Sharing outside your household can lead to blocking of your subscription.

How do I contact you?+

Everything via WhatsApp: ordering, testing, questions and outages. No queues, no helpdesk menu, no forms. You send a message, we handle the rest. The WhatsApp button is on every page of this site.

Still have questions? Just ask.
