🔍 Problem 1: The stream stops after 2-3 minutes (and then hangs)
This is a known issue, especially on Samsung Smart TVs . The image runs smoothly for a while, and after a few minutes the connection drops. You then have to restart the app, and it happens again.
🛠️ The solution (works for most users)
According to a Samsung user on the official community forum, the solution was simple: reset your Smart Hub.
What you do:
- Go to Settings → Support → Self Diagnosis → Reset Smart Hub (on your Samsung TV).
- Enter your PIN code (default is
0000). - The Smart Hub is reset to factory settings. You won’t lose any installed apps, but any adjustments you made to the settings will be gone.
- Install Smartone again via the Smart Hub.
- Log in again (via your MAC address or Portal URL).
Why this works: Resetting the Smart Hub clears up temporary files and conflicts that are interfering with Smartone’s connection.

🛠️The alternative solution (if resetting doesn’t work)
Some users indicate that the problem only solves when you remove the Completely reset TV to factory settings . This is a last resort. It’s best to avoid this, but it’s worth a try if resetting doesn’t help.
🔍 Problem 2: “Cannot connect to server” or “Cannot find MAC address”
You open Smartone and the app indicates that a connection cannot be made. This is frustrating, but often easy to solve.
🛠️ The quick fix (check your internet)
- Test another app on your TV (e.g. YouTube). Does it work?
- Does YouTube work? Then it is up to Smartone or your IPTV provider.
- YouTube not working? Then your TV is offline. Check your WiFi cable or WiFi password.
🛠️The DNS trick (always works)
Sometimes it is due to your internet provider’s DNS server. It is slow or blocks the connection. You can easily circumvent this by changing the DNS of your TV to Google’s (free and fast).
What you do (on Samsung & LG):
- Go to Settings → Network → Network status.
- Click IP settings (or DNS settings).
- Sets “Enter DNS manually” On.
- Refill DNS server
8.8.8.8in (this is Google’s DNS). - Refill Alternate DNS server
8.8.4.4in. - Save and reconnect.
Why this works: You bypass the delays of your own provider. Your TV will then immediately ask via Google’s faster servers where the Smartone server is located.

🔍 Problem 3: My MAC address is not working (or is not in the app)
This is a common problem if you work through a resale service. You have no direct control over the server to which your MAC address is linked.
🛠️ This is the only real solution
There is little you can do about this yourself, because it is up to you IPTV provider is. The only solution is provide your MAC address correctly and let it connect.
What you do:
- Send a Joinchat to Pro-IPTV with your MAC address (the code at the bottom of your Smartone app, e.g.
00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E). - We connect your address to our server.
- Finished. You can watch within 5 minutes.
Why this works for us: Bee Pro IPTV we do this manually and check whether it works. No automated systems that forget your address.

🔍 Problem 4: Smartone keeps loading (blue screen)
You open the app, you see the Smartone logo, and then… nothing happens. The screen remains blue or black.
🛠️ Solution (check the cache)
- Force the app (on Android TV):
- Go to Settings → Apps → Smartone → Force stop.
- Then click Clear cache.
- Restart your TV (not just turning it off, but actually restarting).
- Update the app (check if there is a new version in the LG Content Store or Samsung Smart Hub).
🛠️The last resort (when nothing works)
Sometimes your TV needs a software update. Check your TV settings to see if there is one new firmware is available. This often solves stability problems.

🔍 Problem 5: Smartone works, but certain channels do not
You can open the app, see the guide, but when you select a channel, nothing happens. Or you will receive an error message.
🛠️ Solution (check your playlist)
This is not due to Smartone, but to the IPTV provider. The link to that specific channel has expired.
What you can do:
- Check if the same transmitter works in another app (e.g. VLC or IPTV Smarters Pro). Does it work there? Then it is a Smartone-specific problem.
- Contact your IPTV provider and ask if the station is still in the playlist.
- Switch to Pro IPTV. We have redundant servers, so if a link goes down, the app automatically switches to a working backup.

🔍 Problem 6: Smartone does not work on my older TV
Smartone only works on Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs from 2016 or newer. Do you have an older TV? Then unfortunately you cannot use Smartone.
🛠️ The solution (for older TVs)
- Buy a Fire TV Stick (€30-50 at bol.com).
- Install on that IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate.
- Use the same IPTV service (your MAC address does not work on these apps, but we will provide you with login details).
