Installing IPTV Smarters on Samsung TV: complete explanation (2026)

Do you want IPTV Installing Smarters on a Samsung TV? Then you usually encounter one of two situations: the app is simply in the Samsung Store, or you search for it and don’t see it anywhere. That is not automatically due to your television. Samsung uses different Tizen versions and not every app is available on every model.
We will go through it slowly in this manual. First the installation, then the log in with Xtream Codes and finally the solutions to the most common problems.
Can IPTV Smarters run on any Samsung TV?
No. Availability depends on the model, Tizen version, your locale and the app version currently in the Samsung Store. Therefore, always search on the television itself and do not install random APK files on your Samsung TV. Tizen is not Android; an Android installer file won’t work on that.

Install IPTV Smarters via Samsung Smart Hub
- Turn on the Samsung TV and press the Home-knob.
- Open Apps or Smart Hub.
- Choose the search icon and search IPTV Smarters or Smarters.
- Open the app page and check the name, ratings and developer.
- Click Install.
- After installation, open the app and choose the login method specified by your provider.
The names in the Samsung Store may change. So don’t just look at the logo: also check that you don’t accidentally install an unknown app with almost the same name.
Log in with Xtream Codes
Most providers provide three pieces of information: a username, a password and a server address or portal address. In Smarters you choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Give the playlist a recognizable name, for example “Home”.
- Enter the username exactly.
- Enter the password exactly; pay attention to capital letters and spaces.
- Paste the server address into the server URL field.
- Click AddUser or Login.
Are you using an M3U link? Then choose Load Your Playlist or File/URL and paste the full link. Don’t cut anything off; an M3U link can be long.
The app is not in the Samsung Store
Don’t just try any unknown download site. You cannot safely install an Android APK on a Samsung TV. First check:
- whether the TV is connected to the internet;
- whether you are logged in with a Samsung account;
- whether the country setting of the TV is correct;
- whether a software update is available;
- whether your TV model supports the app.
If Smarters is still missing, choose a player that is available for your Tizen version. Activate SmartOne is often the shortest route on Samsung: you get the app on the TV and then link the MAC address to your playlist.
IPTV Smarters does not work on Samsung
Login failed
Check the three details again. An extra space after the password is enough to cause the login to fail. If the login does not work on any device, ask your provider whether the account is active.
Playlist remains empty
An empty list usually indicates an incorrect server address, an incomplete M3U link, or an account that has not yet been activated. Log out, delete the user and add the details again.
Image stutters

The mobile and TV versions are separate apps. An app listed in Google Play is not automatically available for Samsung Tizen.
