Bitvavo is a Dutch exchange from Amsterdam, registered with De Nederlandsche Bank and the AFM. You deposit euros via iDEAL or a bank transfer and then buy Bitcoin.
Kraken
Kraken is an international, regulated exchange that also works in the Netherlands. You deposit euros via SEPA and buy Bitcoin.
What do the big Dutch banks do?
The big banks — ING, ABN AMRO and Rabobank — currently don’t offer direct Bitcoin purchases in their own apps for consumers. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible: you can simply transfer euros from your ING, ABN AMRO or Rabobank account to one of the parties above, and buy Bitcoin there.
